This is Butterfly Falls... a dream retreat on the Hidden Valley Inn property... these falls are nestled in 7,200 acres of a private forest reserve-- a true hidden treasure ! The cool thing is.. being a teacher or guest here.. we get access.. no one else can! woot woot! We hike in on a narrow trail for about 30 minutes through the semi-tropical forests of the Mountain Pine Ridge Area... just MAGIC. The water you see cascades down 80 feet . You kinda feel like Tarzan in the jungle. White and Blue Morpho butterflies are plentiful.. hence.. Butterfly Falls.... let the transformation begin.Thursday, July 8, 2010
